Let us Pray

With ten inches of fresh snow blanketing our home and the roads closed today, we’re reminded how swiftly life’s circumstances can shift. As we embrace this unexpected stillness, let’s begin our day in prayer.

Let us Pray

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, recognizing Your constant presence in every season of life, especially when the world around us slows to a stop. Thank You for being our refuge, our strength, and our unwavering source of hope.

We humbly ask for Your divine protection over every home, every family, and every traveler today. Surround us with Your angels, shielding us from accidents, slips, and all forms of harm. Bless those who must be out on the roads with discernment, patience, and clarity of mind, and grant peace and reassurance to those who remain indoors. May Your calming Spirit replace any anxiety or fear with faith and trust in Your perfect care.

As we experience this unexpected pause, help us to see it not as an inconvenience, but as a sacred opportunity to draw closer to You. Teach us to rest in Your presence, to listen for Your still, small voice, and to reach out in love to care for one another. Inspire us to use this time to strengthen our relationships, to reflect on Your goodness, and to serve our neighbors in any way we can.

We lift up our community to You, asking for Your hand of protection and provision over every household. Bless our first responders and all who are working tirelessly to restore safe travel and meet the needs of others. Grant them endurance, wisdom, and a deep sense of Your nearness.

May Your light shine brightly in and through us, turning this moment of uncertainty into a testimony of Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promises and rest in Your everlasting arms.

In Jesus’ mighty and compassionate name, Amen.

Stay warm, stay safe, and stay prayerful today.
