Quote of the Day

“Our strength begins the moment we stop denying our weaknesses and lay them at the Cross.” ~ ray mileur

Most days, we work hard to look strong. We hide our struggles and try to fix things on our own. But deep down, we feel tired and alone, afraid someone will see where we fall short. The truth is, pretending to be strong just wears us out and leaves us feeling even more alone.

Real strength begins with honesty—a courageous willingness to see ourselves as we truly are, without masks or excuses.

When we stop pretending and bring our weakness to Jesus, things start to change. We let go of trying to do it all ourselves and find rest in Him. In that place, Christ meets us with grace. He gives us not just forgiveness, but the strength to get up and start again.

The Cross isn’t just something to look at from far away. It’s where we lay down our burdens, find forgiveness, and let God put the broken pieces back together. When we bring our weakness to Him, we’re not giving up. We’re trusting the One who loves us and knows how to restore what’s been lost.

And dependence on Christ is never weakness.

You don’t have to get it all together before you come to Him. You don’t have to cover up the cracks or hide the scars. He asks you to bring it all, just as it is. Lay it down and trust that His love is big enough for every part of your story. What you give to Him, He can redeem.

Our strength doesn’t come from pretending we have it all together. It comes from trusting the One who has everything we need.
