Quote of the Day

“Even His disruptions are kindnesses, His denials are gifts, and His delays are deliverances.” ~ ray mileur

There are seasons when life doesn’t just disappoint us — it dismantles us. Prayers go unanswered. Doors close without explanation. Plans unravel. And in those moments, it’s hard not to wonder if God has stepped back.

But Scripture reminds us that His ways are higher, not harsher. Higher means He sees what we cannot. When something is disrupted in our lives, it may feel like loss. Yet what feels like interruption to us may be protection in motion. What feels like denial may be mercy we don’t yet understand. What feels like delay may be God working quietly, steadily, beyond our limited view.

We measure goodness by immediate comfort. God measures goodness by eternal purpose.

That doesn’t minimize the pain. Tears are real. Grief is real. Confusion is real. But so is the character of God. He is not careless with our suffering. He is not distant in our difficulty. He is weaving something larger than this moment.

One day, what feels senseless will make sense. One day, what feels withheld will be revealed as wisdom. Until then, we trust not because we see the outcome — but because we know the One who holds it.
And He is always kind.
