"If a man claims to be "a little god", but can't even put together his kid's swing set...it might be time to question the theology."

We live in a time when bold claims about spiritual power and identity are everywhere.

People say things that sound impressive—calling themselves “a little god,” elevating their status, speaking as if they carry authority that belongs to God alone. And if we’re not careful, it can sound convincing.

But here’s the truth—real faith is not proven by what someone claims about themselves. It’s revealed in how they live.

Jesus, the Son of God, walked in humility. He served. He obeyed the Father. He didn’t elevate Himself—He laid His life down. That’s the pattern we were given.

So when someone makes big claims but struggles to walk in basic truth, humility, and faithfulness, it should cause us to pause.

Because the Christian life was never about becoming “a little god.”

It’s about walking with the One true God.

Faith isn’t about elevating ourselves—it’s about surrendering ourselves. It’s about trusting Him, obeying Him, and allowing Him to shape us day by day.

The measure of a life with God isn’t found in bold statements—it’s found in quiet obedience, steady faith, and a heart that reflects Christ.

That’s where the real work of God is seen.
