Walking with Jesus — Nothing Can Separate You
Walking with Jesus — Nothing Can Separate You
“nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 8:39
Paul didn’t write these words from a place of comfort—he wrote them from experience.
He had faced hardship, persecution, imprisonment, and suffering most of us will never fully understand. This wasn’t theory to him. This was truth tested in the fire of real life.
And after all of it, he came to this conclusion:
Nothing can separate you from the love of God.
Not trouble.
Not hardship.
Not your past.
Not your present struggles.
Not even your own failures.
Nothing means nothing.
We tend to think God’s love is something we can drift in and out of depending on how well we’re doing. When we’re walking strong, we feel close. When we stumble, we feel distant. But God’s love isn’t based on our performance—it’s anchored in Christ.
That means it doesn’t move when we do.
You may feel far from God today. You may feel like you’ve wandered, like you’ve failed, like you’ve let Him down too many times.
But feelings are not the truth—His Word is.
And His Word says you are not separated.
His love is steady. It’s present. It holds, even when everything else feels uncertain.
Practical Application
Stop measuring God’s love by how you feel.
Stand on what you know.
Today, remind yourself: You are loved—not because you earned it, but because He gave it.
And nothing can take that away.
Let Us Pray - Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love that never changes and never lets go.
There are times when I feel distant, when I question, when I let my circumstances or my failures speak louder than Your truth. Forgive me for that.
Help me to stand firm in what Your Word says—that nothing can separate me from Your love. Not my past, not my struggles, not even my own doubts.
Remind me today that Your love is not based on my performance, but on Your faithfulness. Strengthen my heart to rest in that truth.
Keep me steady, Lord, and help me walk confidently in the assurance that I am Yours.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Walk in faith, rest in grace, and trust the One who walks beside you.
In His love and grace,
